The C-MMO Bridging program is meant for those who have already successfully completed another recognized marine mammal certification and have global experience. This trainee is already familiar with the general processes involved in being an MMO and expectations. This course is delivered entirely online, there is no practical session.

This is the Canada-Marine Mammal Observer Program tailored to the Pacific. The course shall focus on mitigation processes of offshore and coastal programs that may impact marine mammals and other megafauna. This course consists of 4 weeks of online theory with one in-person, at-sea practical session taking place on November 9th in Victoria, BC.

The Edgewise Environmental Passive Acoustic Monitoring (PAM) Operator course is a comprehensive 3 week (online) + practical program that focuses on passive acoustic mitigation processes of marine environmental projects that may impact marine mammals. This course consists of 3 weeks of online theory, with two in-person sessions taking place on November 7th and 8th in Victoria, BC.
