Student Internships

Edgewise Environmental is a strong advocate for ocean literacy, continued professional development, and under-represented demographics in STEM fields! We believe the Blue Economy has room for all, and that everyone should have the opportunity to learn about the ocean. That is why Edgewise Environmental hires student interns, to provide them with knowledge and experience in this sector. Youth today are leaders tomorrow, and if we want to ensure stewardship of our oceans, they are the ones to do it!

We have previously hired students through TechNation and Venture for Canada with backgrounds in marketing, administration, and technology, but we are open to hiring students with backgrounds in various fields! In particular, we are on the lookout for students who are studying or have studied computer science or (marine) biology. Typically, interns must either be registered in a post-secondary institution in Canada, or be a recent graduate under the age of 30.

If you are a student or recent grad and think you’d be a great addition to the Edgewise team, please get in touch with us here!
