Ashley Noseworthy
Chief Executive Officer
Ashley holds an M.Sc in International Marine Environmental Consultancy from Newcastle University (UK), a B.Sc in Biology from Memorial University of Newfoundland, and a Masters Certificate in Project Management from York University.
She has over a decade of global offshore experience working in a variety of lead environmental roles.
Ashley has spent over 20 years working and volunteering in the areas of marine mammal husbandry, marine mammal physiology and cognition.
She is an active member of the community and currently sits on a number of provincial, regional and national boards. She is a strong advocate for women in STEM and general ocean literacy.
Ashley is the most recent winner of the NLOWE (NL Organization of Women Entrepreneurs) Trailblazer Award and was named one of the “Top 100 Inspirational Female Founders of Ocean and Energy” by the Ocean Opportunity Lab.
Jennifer Pittman
Junior Marine Biologist
Jennifer holds a B.Sc in Ocean Sciences with a minor in Geography from Memorial University of Newfoundland. She is currently completing her Masters in Fisheries Resource Management at the Marine Institute of Memorial University.
She has extensive experience in the identification and handling of marine organisms, fisheries policy and management, and working offshore on commercial fishing vessels. She is trained in the identification of Atlantic commercial fish species as well as fish and marine mammals listed on the Species at Risk Act (SARA).
Jennifer enjoys spending her free time outside exploring Newfoundland with family and friends. She is an avid hiker and takes part in recreational fishing activities. She also loves dancing, and traveling to new places.
Emily Welsh
Social Media and Marketing Coordinator
Emily is completing a diploma in Marketing at the College of the North Atlantic
She spent 4 years studying Business at Memorial University of Newfoundland and Labrador
She has extensive experience engaging with digital marketing platforms and content creation
Emily also enjoys traveling, crocheting, and spending time outside
Joel Oram
Junior Software Developer
Joel is currently enrolled in the Software Development (Co-op) Program at College of the North Atlantic
He is passionate about software development and has experience creating accessible websites for a wide variety of clients and audiences.
Joel enjoys spending time designing and 3D printing models as well as playing boardgames with friends and family.
