Ashley Noseworthy

Chief Executive Officer

  • Ashley holds an M.Sc in International Marine Environmental Consultancy from Newcastle University (UK), a B.Sc in Biology from Memorial University of Newfoundland, and a Masters Certificate in Project Management from York University.

  • She has over a decade of global offshore experience working in a variety of environmental roles. ​

  • Ashley has over 12 years experience working and volunteering in the areas of marine mammal husbandry, marine mammal physiology and cognition. ​

  • She is an experienced aviation, offshore and sea survival instructor as well as a qualified H2S Instructor.

  • Ashley also has experience instructing and developing curricula at a university level.

  • She currently sits on the Board of Directors for the Newfoundland and Labrador Environmental Industry Association (NEIA) and the Executive Committee for the Marine Mammal Observer Association (MMOA)

Emily Ricketts

Marketing and Business Development Support / Logistics Coordinator

  • Emily holds a diploma in Business Management (Marketing) from the College of the North Atlantic.

  • She has extensive customer service experience, and spent two years studying business at Memorial University of Newfoundland.

  • Emily enjoys spending time with her family and friends, and seeing new parts of Newfoundland.

Jennifer Pittman

Junior Marine Biologist

  • Jennifer holds a B.Sc in Ocean Sciences with a minor in Geography from Memorial University of Newfoundland. She is currently completing her Masters in Fisheries Resource Management at the Marine Institute of Memorial University.

  • She has extensive experience in the identification and handling of marine organisms, fisheries policy and management, and working offshore on commercial fishing vessels. She is trained in the identification of Atlantic commercial fish species as well as fish and marine mammals listed on the Species at Risk Act (SARA).

  • Jennifer enjoys spending her free time outside exploring Newfoundland with family and friends. She is an avid hiker and takes part in recreational fishing activities. She also loves dancing, and traveling to new places.

Olivia Lymburner

Junior Biologist (Student Co-op)

  • Olivia is currently completing her second year of Marine Environmental Technology at Fisheries and Marine Institute of Memorial University, with education in conservation and management of our marine resources. 

  • She has extensive experience in areas such as oil spill response, fish and marine mammal identification and remediation, and operation of small vessels. 

  • Olivia appreciates being outside, and her favourite experiences include portaging through Lake Algonquin, volunteering at an animal sanctuary, and riding her bike around St. John’s.
