Our Policies

Cancellations

EDGEWISE Environmental reserves the right to reschedule or cancel a course due to scheduling conflicts or insufficient registration. Minimum registrant requirements vary. We strive to let clients know if a course has to be rescheduled or canceled 1 month before the course start date. If EDGEWISE cancels a course, registrants will be given the option to transfer to a latter course or be issued a full refund. EDGEWISE is not liable for any costs associated with travel to/from attending the course (i.e. airfare, accommodation, etc)

Refund

Refund requests made more than 30 days prior to course delivery will be subject to an administrative fee of 300$CAD. Refund requests made after 30 days are not eligible for refund. Alternatively, you may request that the original registration cost be transferred to a future course of your choice. Refunds or transfers will not be issued on the day of, or after, any portion of course delivery. Cancellation requests may be submitted by phone or email. Please note that refunds will be processed in the original form of payment. If you have any questions or concerns about our cancellation policy, please contact us at info@edgewiseenvironmental.com or (709) 770-0492.

COVID Policies During Training

It is of the highest priority that Edgewise Environmental keep all trainees and staff safe during course activities. This includes in-class and on-site. When students arrive for the in-class portion of the course they will be required to be wearing a mask for the duration of the day. It is encouraged that students bring their own mask. If this is not possible a mask shall be provided. All students will also be required to fill out a COVID questionnaire upon arrival.

Hand sanitizer shall be located throughout the facility and in the classroom. Students will be required to sanitize when they arrive, after lunch, and each time they re-enter the classroom. Social distancing measures (of 2m) are to be observed at all times and have been implemented within the classroom.

During the practical, at-sea session masks shall be required and social distancing measures applied. Hand sanitizer shall be provided. Students will also be required to sign a COVID questionnaire upon arrival.
